Benefits include but are not limited to the following; Reduced prices on classes, seminars and other activities. Freebees that others have to pay for. The ability to write articles, stories and books to sell through our site and so much more. You also have the option to renew your membership each year without the worry of a typical reoccurring fee, we simply email you when your subscription is about to expire and you can opt out of your membership. The introductory fee while our site is still in its infant stages is really low too and only occurs once per year (this is subject to change upon renewal but your subscription will not change while during your membership period).
Also as a member, should you wish to advertise your classes, seminars and other activities, your fee rate is reduced compared to non-members of the site. If you wish to hold an activity, whether a formal gathering in your State/City or an online webinar/class, all you need to do is contact the administrators, provide us with the necessary information (cost, class size and what you will be providing) and we'll handle the rest. Be informed that you are not paid until the function has been completed, costs for advertising your function come from the student payments, students who are members receive a discounted rate and if you fail to provide a class or do not deliver a class that meets with what you promised, full refunds will be made to those who opted to attend).
We welcome book review groups to join us as well. There are many authors out there looking to have their books reviewed!
Take time to test drive our site and see if joining is right for you. We are still in our infancy stage and classes will not begin until fall of 2011. Everyday additional free information is provided for aspiring writers, agents, editors and publishers and we welcome you to come and join our forum. Be advised that when you first register, the forum will redirect you to ads - to bypass these, simply go to the top left hand corner of our site, under the banner and click on the "Board Index" menu option. This will skip all the ads completely, allowing you to head straight into the forum. We are hoping to raise enough funds to eliminate this ad campaign completely. The forum providers do have an option button at the bottom of the forum, I believe that it's $15 per year, will allow you to visit the forum ad free - but that only is for your benefit.
Once we are ready to accept student and teacher membership applications, a purchase option will be uploaded on this blog. Membership fees are associated directly to your email address/the same email address you use to sign in on the forum. Everything is done through PayPal (you will have the option of using PayPal or your credit card) and because of this your information is secure through the PayPal industry.
